The 3-Minute Fridge Tidy Tip for Busy Mamas

Hey, mama! Tired of digging through chaos every time you open the fridge? The leftover spaghetti that no one ate or the expired salad that’s been sitting there for a few weeks. lf you feel like you barely have enough time to cook dinner and get everyone to baseball practice, you’re not alone. Where do you find the time? Between the bedtime chaos and finding a few minutes for yourself, finding the extra time to clean up a messy fridge might not be on your priority list. This is where my 3-minute tip comes in.

What we don’t often realize is that we can break these big tasks up into smaller, easier tasks. How do you take such a daunting task and make it work for your busy schedule? Here’s how.

Take 3 minutes every few days and clear out your fridge. Set a timer. Toss expired items, wipe up spills, organize (if you have any time left). This saves you from having to spend 30 minutes of your time doing it later.

But how do you find those 3 minutes? Do it while your kids are eating breakfast. Take 3 minutes while you are waiting for your coffee or while cooking dinner. Finding small pockets of time when you are already in the kitchen can make this so much easier. So go ahead, set a timer and go!

If you do this a few times a week, you won’t even need to add “Clean Fridge” to your to do list!
